Tagged!

* 10 Years Ago: I was... 13... That's weird. I was living in Branson by that point, I think, working at Jim Stafford's and taking classes from Theodora. :)
* On My To-Do List: Goodness... At this point, just finish this semester. I have put down some long-term aspirations. Here's a few... I know they're really big: 1-visit 2 more countries out of N. America;2-go hang glidding;3-climb Mt. Everest (that may be when I'm older, but it's a wish...).
* 5 places that I've lived: Cedar City (weird), Alisha's in Hurricane, Branbury Apts in Provo, Dad's in Nephi, Branson with Mom
* 5 jobs I have had: Sandwich artist :)~, dance teacher, preschool teacher/aide, housekeeper, chicken
* What I would do if I became a billionaire: a billion??? Sorry I'm not being very creative tonight, but probably pay off the usual debt and give to others and find myself a job I really enjoy.
* Bad habits: I'm not very good at admitting them, I make piles of things for organization, like of books and papers, procrastinate, don't always take care of me when I really ought to--cookies and doritos, going to bed late, etc.
* Things I enjoy: A good dance class, laughing my head off with one of my good friends, talking to one of my girlfriends and being able to totally relate to what each other is feeling.
I am now tagging:I'll have to look people up.

Exciting New Changes

It's been quite the year. I went from living in my safe-zone (friends, family, etc) of Provo, Utah, where I lived for four years, to tiny, little, Hurricane, Utah. I went from working at a preschool for nearly 4 years to teaching dance and making sandwiches for a living. Hurricane was a really good experience. Along with meeting new people and experiencing new things, I had time to be quiet and listen. I didn't have to rush things and feel the need to force any thing. It was really nice. It was a time of self-reflection and understanding. I'm grateful to have been where I was when I was, for it was there that I was able to accomplish the things I did.
Alisha got me into shape by running around 4:30 some mornings. I now still really enjoy running and want to push myself more. Alisha was such a good example in so many ways--in understanding people, doing what you love, and never even considering fear when making decisions, which is actually rule #1 for me when I have choices to make. She is also such an amazing mother. I love watching her interact with Emma.
So now here I am in Cedar City. Weird, I know. It was something Alisha suggested, and for those of you who know me, you know that I'm quite impressionable. :) If someone suggests something, I will quickly think, "Maybe that is what I want," or "maybe I do think that way. " :) In any case, after thinking about it quite a bit, I made the choice to be here. And I'm glad I did. I really love the dance classes and my teachers are all very enthusiastic and beyond being well-qualified. I have a male instructor who danced in NY for years in such companies as the Alwin Nikolais dance company, a couple others have danced with Repertory Dance Theater in Salt Lake. They're all amazing dancers and teachers. I wonder if one day I could do what they're doing and be so good at it. :)
So far, so good. Life is going on and we all continue to improve, grow, learn and love. This was my first post, so my hope is that it will continue to get better.... :)
